Jason H. Mudd, Cindy's partner in both life and business, brings a wealth of experience and a spirit of collaboration to Cindy Raney & Team. In late 2019, after retiring from a successful career in banking, Jason joined forces with Cindy to embark on this new chapter.
With a professional journey spanning nearly three decades across diverse industries and organizations, Jason has held senior leadership and management positions in Marketing, Operations, Sales Strategy, and Business Development. His career began in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector, starting with Anheuser-Busch, where he managed a sales territory in upstate New York. It culminated at PepsiCo, where he led Sales Strategy for a division of Pepsi North Americas.
Transitioning from CPG, Jason ventured into the world of finance, initially with Bank of America (BAC). During his tenure at BAC, he assumed a series of influential roles, including Senior Vice President (SVP) and Divisional Sales Executive, overseeing sales performance in seven states within the Mid-Atlantic Region. Later, he served as SVP and Consumer Market Executive, with responsibility for a $2.7 billion P&L, 39 banking centers, 46 direct reports, and a total of 465 employees. In 2009, he shifted from Consumer Banking to the Private Bank, where he held various senior-level roles managing high-net-worth client relationships for J.P. Morgan and Bank New York Mellon.
Jason's partnership with Cindy is driven by his enthusiasm for expanding the operations, scope, and best practices of Cindy Raney & Team. His extensive corporate leadership background and entrepreneurial acumen are valuable assets he brings to this dynamic partnership. More importantly, Jason is thrilled to embark on this business journey alongside Cindy.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Jason is deeply committed to the non-profit community. He currently serves on the Foundation Board for Yale-New Haven Bridgeport Hospital, where he actively contributes to fundraising and advocates for projects such as the Norma Pfriem Breast Center, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and the Men's Health Care Initiative. In the past, Jason chaired the Finance Committee for Project Return (now Homes with Hope), served on the Gala Committee for the Westport Country Playhouse, and played a pivotal role on the Finance Committee for the Fairfield Historical Museum, where he managed the endowment process.
On a personal note, Jason shares his life with Cindy whom they call Fairfield home with their five wonderful children and two “doodles” Penny (Sheepadoodle) and Rosie (Bernadoodle). While Jason hails from the Midwest, his journey since college has led him to reside in various cities along the eastern seaboard. He holds a bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis, with a major in English Literature and a minor in Writing. During his time at Wash U., he excelled as a two-time collegiate All-American and served as the Captain of the men's tennis team.
