Jason H. Mudd is Cindy’s husband and business partner. After retiring from banking late in 2017, he joined forces with Cindy to form Cindy Raney & Team.
Jason’s career spans nearly three decades across multiple industries and firms. Within each industry, he held senior leadership and management roles in Marketing, Operations, Sales Strategy, and Business Development.
Jason began his career in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, starting with Anheuser-Busch where he managed a sales territory in upstate New York, and ending with PepsiCo, where he eventually headed up Sales Strategy for a division of the North Americas.
Following his stint in CPG, Jason moved to the world of finance beginning with Bank of America (BAC). While at BAC, Jason held various leadership roles including Senior Vice President (SVP), Divisional Sales Executive overseeing sales performance in 7 states for the Mid-Atlantic Region, and SVP, Consumer Market Executive responsible for a P&L of $2.7B and oversight of 39 banking centers, 46 direct reports, and 465 total employees. In 2009, Jason transitioned from Consumer Banking to the Private Bank, where he held various senior-level roles managing high net worth client relationships for J.P. Morgan, Bank New York Mellon, and Wells Fargo.
Jason is excited to partner with Cindy in expanding the operations, scope, and best practices for Cindy Raney & Team. His history of corporate leadership and experience in building businesses are passions that he is excited to bring to the partnership. More importantly, Jason is delighted to partner with Cindy on their business venture together.
Jason is actively involved in the non-profit community. Currently, he serves on the Foundation Board for Yale-New Haven Bridgeport Hospital where he has helped raise funds and awareness for various projects including the Norma Pfriem Breast Center, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and the Men’s Health Care Initiative. Previously, Jason served as a Finance Committee chair for Project Return (now Homes with Hope), Chair of the Tennis Committee, and Board Member of the Fairfield County Hunt Club, and on the Finance Committee for the Fairfield Historical Museum where he helped manage the process for the Museum’s Endowment.
On the personal side, Jason and Cindy share (5) lovely children together. They reside in Fairfield along with their omnipresent Sheepadoodle, Penny. Jason was raised in the Midwest, but since graduating from college, has lived in several cities along the eastern seaboard. Jason holds a bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis, with a major in English Literature and a minor in Writing. While at Wash U., he was a 2-time collegiate All-American and Captain of the men’s tennis team.
