Selena’s background spans public relations and nonprofit organizations, where she learned how to shape narratives, understand audiences, and communicate with intention. Working across both sectors taught her that how something is presented - and who it reaches - directly impacts how it’s perceived. That perspective now informs the way she approaches real estate marketing: not as content for content’s sake, but as a strategic exercise in positioning.
At Cindy Raney & Team, Selena focuses on how each property is introduced to the market and experienced by potential buyers. From digital campaigns to social media and day-to-day execution, her work is centered on presenting homes with clarity and purpose - ensuring they reach the right audience and are understood in the right way from the start. Selena holds a degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida. Originally from Florida’s Tampa Bay area, she relocated to Fairfield County, bringing a fresh perspective and appreciation for the lifestyle and rhythm of the region. She enjoys exploring local towns, experiencing the area’s restaurants, and spending time with friends — building a genuine connection to the communities she supports. She also values giving back and spends her time mentoring young girls within the community.
